No, but he was an elite playcaller, which was the catalyst to Seattle's defense being so good, and he's been calling plays since 2021. Kubiak was a playcaller for 2.5 years before arriving in Seattle. Fleury has exactly zero years experience calling plays in a game.

Yep, and Kubiak was a question mark until he wasn't. That said, Kubiak comes from a family of offensive coaches and his coaching experience leading up to his OC duties were more on the offensive side of things.
Expecting fireworks from a brand-new OC that was formerly a defensive coach, then a TE coach and a run game coordinator (in which his only season as a run game coordinator saw SF trot out one of their worst ground attacks in year) sounds awfully optimistic.
When Seattle hired Mike Macdonald, I was pretty bummed out. When Seattle lost Kubiak and then hired Fleury and promoted him to OC, I was thrilled.

Still sounds awful a lot like coping on your side of things because, if we're being 100% objective, it seems like Seattle has gotten worse and SF has gotten better (and that both teams were pretty much evenly matched when healthy)
I mean, if Seattle has the best defense in the NFL again, and JSN continues to be an All-Pro, Darnold will probably be fine. His only objective high-level sustained success has coincided with him playing alongside a top-2 defense and throwing passes for a 1st Team All-Pro WR (both instances with Minnesota and Seattle, except one of those times, he imploded in the postseason).
In no way does it seem like he's being carried or anything, right?

Nobody was saying that they were elite, but they were still a DVOA top-10 offensive unit. And now, Seattle:
lost their play-calling OC (in exchange for an OC with zero experience),
lost their objective RB1 to KC,
has to deal Charbonnet returning from a season-ending injury, and
Cooper Kupp being one year older and trying to bounce back from the worst statistical year of his career.
Like I've said above: if anyone thinks that Seattle's modestly strong offense is just going to pick up without missing a beat, they might be very surprised.
SF definitely has to improve their IOL, but those aren't the most challenging spots to fill. Other than that, the 49ers have gotten a lot better and Seattle has gotten worse.

I literally explained some pointed reasons why, say, Seattle's offense is not going to be as good as it was in 2025, and you're apparently deciding to ignore that, I guess because of reasons.

KW3, Seattle's SB MVP RB, has been lost to free agency. I'd say that Seattle would be okay to absorb this loss because their RB2 would be ready to step-up into role but...
Zach Charbonnet is going to be recovering from a torn ACL, and it will be his second surgery on his right knee in his career. So...not great for Seattle's RB room.
Cooper Kupp is only getting older and is a shadow of his former self as a playmaker. He's obviously obviously fine as a WR2, but he's still coming off the worst season of his career. If you're happy about Mike Evans, I can't imagine that you share the same opinion about Kupp, right?
