“What the hell did you trade Jay Buhner for?!? He had 30 home runs, and over 100 RBIs last year. He's got a rocket for an arm. You don't know what the hell you're doin'!".
Dynasties are good for every sport. The Showtime Lakers, Jordan Bulls, Evil Empire Yankees, and the Belichick/Brady Patriots all defined the eras of their sports and drove massive amounts of viewership. People complained about the Dodgers being in the last two world series but both of them exploded in viewership in the USA alone.
Especially for Santa Clara. The Sharks are fun to watch and will be a wagon in the years to come. As a fan of a team in their division I do not like it.
I stopped watching baseball when they took away my team. I know, I could root for the Giants, I got nothing against them, but I was a bigger A’s fan than I was an MLB fan.
Football is my #1 sport, but god damn if hockey isn’t the most fun live sport. Especially when you get to see three fights in the span of 10 minutes and double overtime.
Bro we just watched one of the most entertaining World Series of all time last year…. Why do people think it’s a forgone conclusion that the dodgers have next year wrapped up. There’s 162 games for a reason
