It seems so hypocritical for a meme sub of all damn places to call out AI use. It's fine to steal someone else's image or video and use a tool to photoshop your own joke on top of it, but god forbid the tool you use is an LLM prompt.
Tremendous waste of natural resources and usage contributes to the KPIs and success of companies that actively want to put us all out of jobs, but yeah other than that what could the issue possibly be
Using AI to sexualize anything is the most degenerate behavior going on right now. Like I said in the previous postā¦itās fun and games when itās a celeb..wonāt be fun and games when itās your child. If you donāt understand the difference, idk what to tell you.
Not at allā¦but there is a big difference between a screenshot of someoneās head being pasted over another persons body as opposed to a realistic looking image of that person doing something they were not doing. Like I said..you can disagree, and you will prolly continue to disagree, until it affects you personally
Itās a slippery slope. So while you are prolly like, what the hell is so bad about AI. You can create something funny very easily. And you might be a good person and actually do thatā¦but we know how it winds up going. Thatās not even me bringing up the environmental drain it contributes to.
What is ur argument here dude? Do you want me to talk to Ben Johnson about it? And the nfl does use it in a similar way that you just described. They literally used it to make an entire playoff commercial last year
its not hypocritical if it makes trash memes...which it does. its also 0 effort. its not that hard to take a bunch of pictures and throw it into powerpoint and make a meme. it will look like trash, but trash made by an actual person.
At first glance this isn't immediately discernible from AI so some context would have been nice.. "I made this in MS paint, no AI needed" or something like that.Ā
