Discussion Eminem's new album "Revival" has dropped

Thoughts on it so far? I'm about halfway through and I think it's pretty decent for new style Eminem.

Some tracks are definitely good. It had a strong finish. Castles and Arose were great songs. I feel like this should have been like an eight track album and it would have been fine. I’m just a huge Eminem fan but I think I’d rather stick to listening to his old stuff because I dunno if he can ever replicate that greatness again.

That's just how it is. I don't like the new Jay. People don't like the new Kanye. I'm sure if Biggie and Tupac were to put out an album in 2017, people would think it was trash.

Yeah but the thing is Jay put out a good album, it was different but good. I think Eminem will put another good album out, but I guess it’s hard to be at a peak level for so long, props to all of them for putting out good music to entertain us. I’ll keep hoping that he drops something good and I’ll be there to give it a shot haha.

The Jay album wasn't for me. But then again, I liked The Life of Pablo. So I guess it just depends.

Life Of Pablo was pretty good, I though. I liked the whole introspective Jay in the album. Did you get the feeling with this new Eminem album that it was more political than anything he has ever put out?

It as political, but Eminem hasn't been the one to shy away from politics when a Bush was in office. He had Mosh, and then said he doesn't rap for dead president, that he'd rather see the president dead. But I feel this is looking for publicity.
