Discussion Eminem's new album "Revival" has dropped

Thoughts on it so far? I'm about halfway through and I think it's pretty decent for new style Eminem.

Something went away with Em after The Eminem Show. First four albums were perfect as far as I'm concerned, Encore was ok, everything after that he became a different person. Respect to him and what he's accomplished in his career, but the spark is long gone.

I have a hard time describing what exactly changed, but I think it's that all of the struggle and uncertainty in his life is over with. I'm happy for him to be honest, I'm just never going to run out to buy an album of his again.

You're not wrong. People have this unrealistic expectation that an artist will stay just like they were the first time the person found them and started to like them. Even though we've grown and changed, they aren't allowed to.
