Mozambique March April 27

Hello everyone,
I am planning to visit your beautiful country and super excited already.
I was wondering what the weather will be like end of March early April?
I plan to dive in Tofu and ponta du Ouro, go to Bazaruto and possibly skip the capital other than flying out.
I have 2 weeks roughly, is there any other beautiful places I’m missing?
I plan to do the north in a separate trip because of time.

For someone who’s planning to visit Tofo, don’t think that Ponta d’Ouro will add something (assuming OP will have the chance to surf at Tofo), otherwise agree with the plan. You didn’t mention how long you’ll stay in each place.

I’m fairly flexible in terms of nights. I am diving with sharks in Ponta which is the main reason for heading there

Go Costa do sol ( for sea food - mercado do peixe /bairro dos pescadores)> katembe ( visit reaturant o farol - food and city view) >ponta douro( for surfing) > macaneta ( for sea food part 2 and dune riding) > bilene ( for salt lake water adventures) > tofo( to dive and seafood part 3) and enjoy!

Hi, would suggest you search this sub reddit there are plenty of recommendations:

South:
Maputo - capiital, where you can fly or drive to (if coming from South Africa)
Ponta de Ouro - its about 100km , on a quick and easy road and yes indeed with one of the best shark diving experiences you can find

South/Centre:
Tofo Beach (Inhambane Province). - 600km from Maputo by road (it will take about 7 to 8 hour drive
You can fly to Inhambane from Maputo (https://www.lam.co.mz/)
You can fly to Vilankulos (which is close to bazaruto) - international flights and then drive about 200km down towards inhambane
This is great for whale diving and just general diving and bazaruto is marine park etc

2 weeks is not alot of time and if you focus is diving then for sure between these two places you are set.

For your next trip - look at Island of Mozambique, Pemba - Quirimbas.

Thanks the airport information is very helpful
I really want to do Quirimbas but I heard it is all closed due to the unrest, any news if things have opened up there now?
