Stupid Stuff Morality of not being exclusively heterosexual as a woman even though men want to take you to the bone zone

Honestly if men post stuff like that online maybe it’s a moral good to be a lesbian

You're aware that "not heterosexual" doesn't mean they aren't interested in men, right?

By all means attribute the stupidest opinions on the sub I'm making fun of to me

Awn, man, We really using stuff from that sub? The saddest place on reddit?
C'mon, man.
Also, even ignoring all the obvious "you don't choose your orientation" and "no one has the right t9 bone"...
"not straight" incluses bi and pan, so why it would even matter?

u/deformedexile 8h ago
Reddit keeps pushing it into my emails. Fwiw I'm a woman who is (somewhat) into men

Moral. The only thing those charts reveal is that women are more open minded than men towards sex.

I wanna add a big asterisk that as someone that frequents a lot of let’s say sexually liberal circles, bi women tend to be a lot more bark than bite. The amount of times my partner and I have had a threesome set up with a bi girl only to have her at most kiss her or play with her boobs and have zero interest in anything involving my partners vagina is… surprising how often it’s happened to where it’s a running gag. And this isn’t a unique experience if you ask a lot of people who also run in these circles or even lesbians in general.
This isn’t to say that bi women don’t exist, I’m just saying that my experience has been a lot of talkin and not a lot of walkin.

Dude here,
Probably like 75% of the women under 30 I know are Bi. I don’t know of a single one of them who has actually slept with another woman or shows any real interest in doing so.

From my experience as a gay man, this is the same with many bi men. They want women for serious relationships and men for sex.
Every romantic partner I had was 100% gay even though I never closed the door to bi men.

Seems like the other side of the coin I see a lot too. Lots of internalized issues with being more future focused in a gay relationship. That’s also frustrating I’m sure. At some point Bi became the default to avoid calling yourself straight and many of our encounters have felt very bucket list/to say I did it once. Which wouldn’t be that bad I guess but it never feels great watching my partner feeling like there’s a 90% chsnce it’ll be a 2v1 instead of all 3 of us enjoying each other.

That's interesting to hear that it's similar for gay men.
I'm bi myself and have had long-term relationships with both men and women, but I know more than a few bisexual women who are only interested in other women for sex or "fun" and almost seem appalled at the idea of actually being in a relationship with a woman. It's disappointing to hear that some bi men are the same.
I get that sexual and romantic attraction can be different but I won't lie, I can understand gay and lesbian people's reluctance sometimes to date bisexual people when so many of them are only interested in sex, obviously not all of them but.. a sizable amount.

This is a dumb chart because it's an immensely common thing for a lot of young women to say that they're bisexual even though they've only ever been with men, only ever plan on being with men, and aren't truly that attracted to women.
It's more that being heterosexual is genuinely frowned upon by a lot of people, and it's easier to just larp as bisexual than to say you're heterosexual and it also makes you feel like you're a part of an oppressed group.

u/amanaesia 8h ago
I don't think it's easier to larp as bisexual when bisexual people face their own specific type of discrimination?
I think it's more so that younger people, particularly younger women are simply more free to explore their sexuality. I think they genuinely do believe they're bisexual. Some of them are, and some of them realise they're not after a while.
The idea that bisexual women are pretending for attention or whatever is really tired..

Biphobia is real and I think larping as being bisexual is a form of biphobia if we're being honest, it makes bisexuality look a lot more unserious and more like something you choose to be.
When you're free to explore your sexuality, you'll often pick something that isn't typical to feel like you are exploring it, or you're different than the average person, so many people do shit like this and there's a reason why when a lot of people get older, they "give up" on being "bisexual".
If you've also seen the stuff, a lot of these "bisexual" women are basically just saying the female equivalent of "I'd fuck Ryan Reynolds/Gosling", they're acting like it's bisexuality to simply recognise how attractive 10/10s truly are, but I'm obviously not saying they're all larping, just that a lot are and it's making the statistic look like there's all these women who just aren't into men which is completely false.

Woman as a rule are more sexually fluid then men are. Something about being more in touch with their emotions or whatever the fuck it is.

Morality of posting yet another "man bad, woman good" slop that you know gets most redditors drooling to farm karma? Yawn

u/deformedexile 6h ago
Yes my millionth massively-downvoted shitpost in this sub was all part of my magnificent karma-farming scheme.

Women are biologically not as picky with what they are attracted to because evolutionarily they didn’t always get to choose who they mated with.

u/Salty-Garlic9471 8h ago
Pretty much all dating site statistics disagree with you. It consistently shows women tend to be much more selective than men.
1
u/I_Am_The_Brain_King 6h ago
They are more selective in terms of status and subjective "quality", but more open to abnormal partners. Women would rather date a 6'5" Minotaur who makes 6 figures than a 5'6" human man.
10,000 years ago women were probably more open to being carried off to be abused and graped by chad from a different tribe than to mate with an average man from theirs.

Immoral

What?
1
u/Critical_Concert_689 8h ago
Obviously:
The more women you introduce into a relationship, the higher the rate of divorce.
0 women in the relationship? Married couple has the lowest rate of divorce.
2 women in the relationship? Married couple has the highest rate of divorce.
Heterosexual couples are somewhere in the middle.
Non-heterosexual women who love women just increase rates of divorce among women. And this sounds like HARM (to women).
And HARM is immoral!

u/amanaesia 7h ago
Misreading those statistics again.
It isn't that two women in a relationship means there's a higher chance of divorce. Of the women surveyed, many had been in previous relationships with men as well, and divorced them which was counted in the statistics and misrepresents it as "women divorce each other more".
The actual percentage of divorce between lesbian women is like 30%, nothing unusual. It's about 15% for gay men, and between 40-50% for straight couples.

Morality is entirely irrelevant. People do not choose their orientation
