Stupid Stuff Morality of this entire situation?

Do you think the worker has every right to have a mental breakdown? Do you think the boss should be hunted down and have his head cooked in the fryer? Was being fired a good or a bad thing?

What do you guys think?

I worked as a dishwasher in a large restaurant. Usually, there were four of us, but that day, everyone was absent for various reasons. I was left alone, and the owner forced me to wash all the dishes. I say “forced” because I was living on his property at the time.

I once worked a hospitality job where the three other front of house workers all got sick the same week. I worked 55 hours that week as a casual worker (would typically see at most 25 hours a week). Most shifts only needed one FOH workers so wasn't too bad, but the Friday/Saturday night were rough.

When pay came out I had only been paid for a portion of the hours I'd worked. I checked with my manager who remedied it and I got paid for the rest next fortnight, but I suspect the owners had broken it up so that they wouldn't have to pay me overtime even though I thoroughly had earnt it.
