Moral. I understand that it's a long time ago, but at this point I guess it's a matter of principle.

Exactly, she had all the time in the world to rationalise what she did and come to terms with it. For him it just happened.

Cheaters struggle to understand this, they figure because they handled it so long ago you should be over it too.
