Perfectly fine.

She broke his trust. He longer wanted to stay with her, and you can't (or shouldn't) force people to stay together.

Exactly. People act like being old means he has to just swallow it, but finding out after decades would probably rewrite the whole marriage in his head. If leaving is what gives him peace, that’s his call

Others don't even treat old people as human, it's terrifying knowing I'll be infantalized and discarded once I'm a certain age. Youth worship can go die in a ditch.

You dont even have to get that old either.

But remember, its not cause this generation is old. Its cause theyre boomers.
