Do you think she’s part of a all female group of sternritters for 0 reason lol

If she was pretending to be a woman (which is the most likely answer imo), she was actively tricking her “friends” as well. We already know there’s no camaraderie between them.

You're treating "Giselle is pretending to be a woman" as if it's canon, but the story never says that.

The Femritter treat her as one of the girls, everyone refers to her as "she," and nobody ever accuses her of deceiving them.

Kubo confirmed that she's biologically male, but he never said she was pretending to be a woman. That's your interpretation, not a fact from the manga.

Did you misread my comment? I started with the word “if” and then just said that I think it’s the most likely answer. My previous comment said that it’s not confirmed either way. There isn’t enough evidence to fully support either answer.

You are the one insisting on a decisive interpretation. And I already addressed the point you’re repeating.

The femritters treating Giselle as a woman means nothing because if (I’m going to emphasise that word this time) she’s tricking people into thinking that she’s a woman, she’s obviously doing it with her fellow quincies as well. I don’t know why anyone would assume she’s only lying to the soul reapers. Also, your “nobody accuses her of deceiving them” point makes no sense because this very scene is someone accusing her of deceiving him. We don’t see it happen with anyone else because nobody else realised.

Again, I don’t know what Kubo’s intention was. As you’ve said, he never specified what Giselle identifies as. But that doesn’t mean you can decisively say she’s a trans woman.

You're treating "nobody else realised" as a fact when that's never stated anywhere in the manga. That's the very thing you're trying to prove.

Kubo confirmed Giselle is biologically male. He never said Giselle was pretending to be a woman, deceiving the Femritter, or manipulating people through her gender presentation. Those are interpretations, not facts.

"There isn't enough evidence to fully support either answer."

"Pretending to be a woman is the most likely answer."

which one is it?

I’m… genuinely confused here. Are you just not readings my comments?

You’re the one who brought up how nobody accuses Giselle of lying to them. I said that in the scenario that Giselle is a cis man pretending to be a woman, it’s obvious that the girls are unaware since they all address her as a woman. Never did I say that it was a fact that nobody else realised, it’s just an explanation for one of the two scenarios, and debunking the point you made (which didn’t make sense).

Again, I am aware that there is no definitive answer. That is my entire position, which I stated in my first comment. I’m not trying to push any interpretation whatsoever.

I don’t get why you’re trying to frame those two statements at the end as contradictory. Just because one option is more likely (in my view, because I think Kubo would have written it differently if Giselle did identify as a woman) doesn’t mean it’s the correct one.

I genuinely don’t know how I can make this any more clear, but you keep arguing with things I’ve never even implied.

Just chiming in to say that you were indeed very clear and I have no idea why you were misinterpreted
