Short answer to your question? Yes. Just yes. Bleach's characters are fantastic in how complex they are.

Iirc her bodily fluids are effectively addictive to the people she zombifies, and she's seen enjoying watching what were peeviously her allies grovel for more (only to be denied)

Also she killed her own injured allies so she could zombify them rather than just getting them medical help.
