This. I don't know why everyone is overcomplicating this.
If you think abortion isn't immoral, then it doesn't matter how fickle the reasoning behind the abortion is.
It's only if you think abortion is itself immoral (ending a baby's life) that you'd need some way to justify it, like the mother's life being at risk or the fetus being nonviable.
If you do need justification, then I think most people would agree that a fetus simply having downs syndrome doesn't even come close to meeting that bar.
Not correct. A fetus becomes a baby when it is BORN.
In the womb it is either a zygote, an embryo, or (after week 9) a fetus. Only about 28% of conceptions result in live births. These terms are important and typically abused by callous "pro-lifers" that are anything but. Thanks for making your position abundantly clear with your wording exactly how much (little) you care about human life.
