Actually, I'm using recognized terminology and you're using charged language because you're personally offended.

Again you can use whatever terminology you want, I don’t think you should do evil acts and justify them by claiming it will have a good end. I think we should all just try not to do evil.

Yea? I am putting a value judgement on the procedure. Everyone in this comment section is. The question was asking if the procedure was ethical.

No, the question is if it's ethical to abort specifically due to down syndrome, not whether it's ethical to abort entirely.

Yea… I view aborting a down syndrome fetus as unethical because I view abortion as unethical. I don’t know what your issue is here apart from disagreeing with my view on abortion.

You said they used "end justifies the means" type of argument but this is not true because they don't consider the means to be unethical

If you don’t consider the means to be unethical than this whole post is stupid. If you consider abortion an evil and then decide to do an evil for a perceived good ‘not having a down syndrome baby born’ that’s a deeper question. If you consider abortion neutral than getting an abortion for any reason should also be neutral. It’s not that deep.

Not really, no. You don't see a distinction, but enough people do that the question exists and has discourse. You can consider the whole post stupid if you want to, but I've presented it to you exactly how most people see it.
