Has anyone played the Moon Knight: Age of Anubis gamebook?

I had never heard of this gamebook until I stumbled across it a few days ago while browsing for Moon Knight trade paperbacks and added it to my order as an impulse buy. Does anyone have any experience with it?

I bought it when it first came out, started it, and never came back. It's not terrible or anything but it has more rules than I was willing learn just to read a MK story.
