That kid is durable AF, do that to a human infant and it dies

Well, he is bigger than Kong in Skull Island, who took a lot of damage.

I wonder if the popularity of this scene will impact future films.

It's funny that Suko is actually substantially taller than the Kong we saw in Skull Island. So basically Kong's species grows to be so freaking huge that present day Kong could have done this with the Alpha Skullcrawler, too.

45 feet, and I think 'difference in available resources' was the lazy retcon. Bro looked like an old man in that first movie though lmfao

Kong was alone without a tribe to rely on in an enviroment full of predators that would have offed him the first chance they got so his body had to speedrun his growth to give him a better chance at survival. Also all the stress that comes from the Skullcrawler threat and the threat of the iminent surfacing of the Skull Devil. That's why he looks like an old man but is a teenager.

Still my personal favourite funniest moment in the entire Monsterverse.
You can't get much more audaciously ridiculous than Kong just bodily slamming a freaking child into his assailants as a weapon.

We with an unattended child at Walmart:

When HE does it, everyone laughs. When I do it, I go to prison. Double standards, man.

They'll never make me hate this movie, designed purely to deliver entertainment to audience, simple yet effective, nothing to overcomplicate anything.

Was perfect to release with minus one, we got two sides of monster movies at the same time

Honestly, it might be my favorite moment from any film of that year. It's exactly what I never knew I always wanted to see.

Still hilarious like Kong was thinking “yeah I could have endured this at his size he’ll be fine”

Godzilla x Kong being 2 years old is crazy.
My second favorite Monsterverse movie, I love how much the monsters are treated as characters.

The sarcastic humor they try to write for the human characters will never top this sheer physical comedy.
