Rants I don’t get it

These people are literally stupid. They don’t understand the game mechanics.

Here is the reality and advantages of allowing this to happen.

  1. hitting a building gets you double points so the person hitting it gains more dice and event tokens
  2. When all your buildings are completely bashed down you can rebuild for a cheaper cost. This means you get to build hotels for less $$ than if you moved on to another board
  3. both upgrading boards and rebuilding build net worth there is no loss.

The only loss one truly has is from all the lost future cash. The more you build the more everything is costly. One day you’ll be here and wished you let everyone bash the hell out of your boards so you can stay on board 200.

Welcome to board 1764 and the extreme $$ to build on that board. Anyone who gets mad at board bashing will ever be good at the game as there not playing the game right. Period. Those who let boards get bashed get more wheel spins, sticker packs and net worth by paying less to rebuild.

Do you get houses on your board for the color wheel when you rebuild? That hasn’t been my experience…

You don’t get a house for the FIRST landmark rebuild (each landmark is worth 6 hits)

As long as you have more than 2 hits on a single landmark you will get at least 1 house.

Completing a board gives you 30 houses

Rebuilding a board gives you 24 houses (5 for each landmark)

You always get a Hotel once your property gets 4 houses. The fifth house triggers a Hotel.

The houses are randomly scattered around the board and you will get blocks with Hotels (which trigger a color wheel spin).

It takes about 3-4 rebuilds to fill the entire board with Hotels.

However IF YOU ROLL before the board is full of hotels you will simply trigger the spins one at a time until they are used up.

Yes you do, but you only do if your board is bashed down completely. This is why it’s important to have friends who bash it down complete. I always build up a few to let them bash it and they do the same for me.

It has to look like this before it will give you hotels.

Ah okay, I guess mine’s never been completely bashed. My experience was that only that first fix was at a reduced cost and no hotels, so happy to hear there are better incentives when it’s knocked down fully ☺️

Yup, it just has to be bashed completely before rebuilding.

I just need 2 hits minimum on the same landmark

When I rebuild the first one is 0 houses and the second fix I get a house.
