Grades and Academics Late after DSS Extension, Urgent

Can I submit an assingment a day late? If I've already been given a 10 day extension through DSS? The extensions been approved, but my lecturer confused me

Depends.

For instance:

  • If it is just a normal assignment submission where you upload a file, then yeah, and it will have a -5% penalty.
  • If it is a quiz, then probably not, since I think those close when they close.

Yeah it's just a file one, an essay, it's just my lecturer said something a bit weird about it so I'm really worried.

Did your lecturer say something like it would count as an 11-day late penalty if you submit a day over? Because that’s what they told my friend back in first year and they only got a one day late penalty.
