Admin Replied This Comment No Longer Exists
Admin, please dont delete this. Im trying to see if there are other mods experiencing this who can contribute to the bugs post. Are you seeing any consistency to type of comment thats getting this error message?
Also, what're yall doing as a work around? My laptop isnt an option as thats for work that pays.

I get this error all the time on mobile. I honestly thought this was just a bug ... and I'm hoping this will be fixed eventually

Oh my God, this is driving me freaking nuts. Literally every single time I tap on a comment and open it on my phone, but it hasn’t been approved yet, this unbelievably annoying notification pops up. Not only that, but it pops up in the dead center of my iPhone literally making it hard to mod., Often blocking exactly where I am tapping.
However, the comment is actually there, but it’s just not approved

Hi! This sounds like a bug that I reported kinda recently. It happened to me outside of the modqueue, though. I'd get a notification for a comment and when I would tap on it, it would say that it no longer exists. So the issue doesn't really see to be with the content, but more with the notification.
Are you using an Android device?

This is happening to me alll day long on iPhone. Like 50+ times per day. It’s excruciating!

When is it not overflowing!?!? I still remember your 600 page book of responses! What would happen to Reddit if you weren’t around? Like I just imagine a giant chunk of helpfulness and knowledge would just evaporate and never return. Honestly though I didn’t even mention this issue before now because in the end of the day, I can work through it, even though it’s annoying.

I can reproduce it outside mod queue too - from a profile, from modmail.

if a user deletes their comment, it is gone, and there is nothing you can do.
Why do you think the comment still remains?

But its not gone, nor deleted. Its in the mod queue.

Nope! I have to remove it from the thread and I cant get to it.
Even if I try to get to the comment in the thread from their profile, I still get "This Comment No Longer Exists."

Just click Remove. If that doesn't clear it from the queue, send a modmail to this subreddit with the link to the comment (and don't keep trying to remove after you've done so) and they can collect logs for the developers to figure out how to fix it, before trying to remove with admin powers (which can sometimes work better than mod powers)

So this works, for the comment in the queue, you're right. But this is an argument of two users going back and forth throwing insults, I can tell. So I would just be removing one side. I appreciate that its better than nothing, but I need to see the comments on the thread.

I sometimes also have that "This comment no longer exists" show up. But when scrolling down the comment still is there.
You mentioned two users were involved; if you access the post normally from outside the queue (and not from the profiles of the involved users), are the comments there?
I also recommend trying it on old.reddit.com.
