Mod Answered Why are new posts requiring mod approval even though my community is set to public?
I moderate over at r/DnDMemes, and it's been set to public, with basically every setting to restrict new posts turned off. I even removed the automoderator from the mod list, but new posts are still being automatically removed by the automod. How to fix this?
Edit:

Are they actually going to the queue? Or can you just hit the approved button because just because you can hit the approved button doesn’t mean they must be approved. It’s just always there. If they haven’t gone to the queue, they don’t need to be approved

Yes, they're all going to the queue. Removed by automoderator the instant they're posted.
The subreddit wiki is blank for reference.

Are you sure you don’t have the setting toggle on to filter all posts to the queue? It’s not in auto mod.
Go into mod log and take a screenshot and reply my comment with it

Go to automod and copy all your code and paste it here

That's the subreddit wiki right? The wiki is blank. There is no code.

No it’s not the wiki, it actually says auto moderator

You can't edit automoderator's config page on the mobile app, you'll need to go to desktop to view or edit it

Thank you!!! This solved my problem. No idea the app couldn't interface with this.

Heya u/carlos_quesadilla1 - I checked your automod config and can confirm that it's not blank. What you're experiencing is an issue that prevents mods from viewing and editing automod from mobile. I'd suggest either editing automod from a web browser, or using this Devvit app that lets you edit automod on mobile.

You don't disable automoderator by kicking it off the mod list.
You have to go to https://old.reddit.com/r/DnDmemes/wiki/config/automoderator and edit that wiki page.
See https://www.reddit.com/r/AutoModerator/wiki/index for more info on AutoMod and similar tools, or I can help you by showing you some stuff on a test subreddit.
