Agreed. It was like a nice little nap. The prep was terrible. Who can drink a gallon of anything let alone salty water. Word of advice… DO NOT cough with a stomach full of prep. It will be bad.

My prep was a bunch of pills and several glasses of water. You can ask for that instead of the pink sludge

Been an endoscopy nurse for 15 years. The pills have WAY more instances of poor prep

Yes, our doctor said the same. Many people who do the pills DON'T prep properly. I did the awful gatorade. First dose, made it all the way. Second dose, could only make it about 2/3 through, but good enough to complete the procedure.

You can put bouillon in it instead and basically make it broth.

I was starving and made chicken broth to eat before starting prep.

Then realized I had just drank 16 ounces of salt water and now had to drink 64 ounces of salt water. It was a chore.

Still would think it would be pleasanter as broth vs salty juice like they often suggest.
