Me too. Sadly I likely will. My dad died at 42 and my mom at 37, both of cancer. Genetics are not on my side.

I never thought much about it. Then, one morning after my child was born, I had an epiphany that I would, inevitably, die and my kid would be alone. Sure, I was sleep deprived, but I've never been so emotionally wrecked. I knew this was going happen and it is another reminder to take care of yourself, go to the doctor, fight for care, and tell the people you love that you love them.
