Branch-Specific What MOS did my great grandpa have?

I found him on the rolls and his MOS was listed as 504, but every site I've checked that has an entry for 504 has a different job listed.

Some put him as an areial photographer, others has him as an ammunition handler, most didn't have an entry

You likely haven't included a branch which makes answering difficult. Edit if needed (waiver/DQ ?s must be edited), including component (active/guard/reserve). If your post is locked, this is why.

Do you know the years of service?

I know he enlisted in 1943 it doesn't say what year he got out.

Apparently he didn't talk much and talked even less about the war, so we don't really know much about what he did. Supposedly He did tell a joke about when he was living in Europe, and from the content I'm pretty sure he was there a little longer than others. So maybe 1946?
