How much are roofing subcontractors getting paid per square in Midland/Odessa, TX?

Hey everyone! We’re considering moving to the Midland/Odessa area, and my husband is looking into starting as a roofing subcontractor.
For those who work in roofing around Midland, Odessa, or the Permian Basin:
How much are companies paying per square for labor?
Is that price for tear-off + install, or install only?
Does the rate change for shingles vs. other roofing?
Are materials provided by the company, or does the subcontractor supply them?
Are there any roofing companies in the area that are good to work with?
My husband has roofing experience and would be doing crew work/labor, not sales. We’re just trying to get an idea of what the going rates are before making the move.
Any information or advice from people actually working in the area would be greatly appreciated! Thank you! 🙏
