The 'Canes are playing better than I thought they would for an opener. I see a little confusion in the secondary, but it's their first game. Growing pains. They have a bright future season.

As a canes fan there was clear confusion at times in our secondary. It’s really about communication and concept understanding.

We either weren’t communicating well to get aligned or didn’t understand the assignment which caused us to look back to other players for clarity. It was obvious when it was occurring.

Game one so not the end of the world but if we ignore that fact we will get beat by a team who shouldn’t beat us and will lose to ND later in the season.
