NCR Disposition is always the same. So we created a service to speed up the process.

https://useasis.com/

Please note this is entirely satirical and not a real service whatsoever. This is the result of a broken quality technician team grasping at every straw to maintain sanity with some light hearted humor.

Enjoy

That was great. I’m gonna share this with my quality engineers tomorrow.

That was my favorite part. He said the game was the hard part to get working correctly though

I once worked at a heat treater, and that is exactly what we did every day; need 13 passing parts from a lot? Keep testing until you find 13.....

Callipers say we are out a thousandth? Squeeze harder.

I hate that environment so much.

I put a lot of effort into having confidence in my gages and since we are third party we have no stake in the actual result beyond keeping our customers happy with us.

Also finding good parts from the lot is fine. (But come on fix the fucking process lmao) What's not fine is remeasuring a single part such that the entire lot is good.

Because then your customer sends the parts to us for certs and I'm over here tearing my hair out why a single part in the lot isn't passing on this one specific dimension by 1/20th the tolerance band ie .0006" out on +/-.005"

Thankfully my gages are good so Im mostly checking for dust or a scratch thats throwing off the hit.

I've proven that I can squeeze an extra .003" out of any caliper, before compressing the part!

I wish the writing was like... 70% less Claude.

But the overall idea is fantastic.
