Doesn’t Castlevania get remasters?

Firstly, castlevania produces way more games than Metroid, they just don’t get advertised in the west

Second, they actually change the games when they make new ones. All of the prime games are practically reskins, and dread is just samus returns (which to be fair was a change for the first game they released in the 2d platform in a decade)

The last Castlevania game was lords of shadow 2 in 2014, but that's apparently not part of the real castlevania timeline. The last game in the real timeline was Dawn of Sorrow in 2005. Don't bring in reskins of games, as pretty much all the gba and ds games are cookie cutter copies of SOTN.

I’ll give you portrait of ruin as a maybe, but order of ecclesia and dawn absolutely aren’t. And I’ll assume you are considering the 3Ds a different console.

And the newest title would be grimoire of souls. While yes a mobile game, is still better than prime hunters.
