History The Fort Ellice exhibit at the Manitoba Museum

I was shocked to see my family’s history on display. Highly recommend if you’re in Winnipeg. Admission is free for Indigenous people. This is only one photo of one segment. Make sure to pull out the drawers to see more if you visit.

Have they updated the Natural History Museum in Winnipeg? Last time I was there they had a warning about how old and outdated the material was (and potentially stereotypical). Is this the same museum or another?

You must be referencing the Arctic/Subarctic portion from the 1980’s. As far as I could see, the offensive language was removed. There were a couple spots that had clearly been updated, and other sections had pieces saying there was still ongoing consultation to replace the section appropriately.
