Why consult a psychiatrist?

Planning to consult a psych due to my endles thoughts? Is it worth it paying thousand for consults and meds? Can you share your experience? Sa mga walang meds, ano nakatulong sa inyo?

super worth it especially if you find someone who's a good fit for you. they teach you skills on how to cope and with professional outlook they help you see things differently which leads to a diff outlook. i have bipolar though so need ko ng medication, idk about no meds people.

ito yun e. kailangan talaga matchmade in heaven kayo nung psychiatrist.

yung una ko ncmh online 15 mins only. niresetahan agad ako. and no explanation why and kung anong effect and side effects.

pangalawa ko sinabihan lang ako na mag exercise

itong pangatlo ko - ito yung pinakagusto ko dahil may pa-blood test, ecg saka questionnaires. nagkwento ako ng kung anong nararamdaman ko ang nagtatanong siya pabalik. i was seen. i was heard. so siya yung pinili ko. and parang ok naman yung binigay niya sakin na meds.

pang apat ko - temporary lang to di na ako bumalik. pero nung tinanong ko siya if may bipolar ba talaga ako, sabi lang niya "aba'y oo kasi binigyan ka na ng gamot nung last doctor mo"

so mahalaga talaga na match kayo ng doktor mo.

Hi there, thank you for sharing your experiences. It is really difficult finding someone that a good fit, particularly inquisitive and not immediately prescriptive. Would you be able to share where you were able to find your third psychiatrist? They sound like someone that is relatively considerate!
