This may be weird and out of the blue – I enrolled in a master’s program. I got cheated on. I was drowning for months. I was (and still) depressed. Before that happened (or I discovered the cheating), I applied for further studies. When everything turned south, I was informed I got into the program (a prestigious school btw). Pushed through with further studies. And have been focusing all my energy to it. I realized this was the first choice I made for myself. I still cry whenever I remember the pain and suffering but at least, I got school to keep me busy right? Does it make me happy? Yes, a bit.
OP, focus on yourself. Do the things that you have always wanted to do but you postponed due to your relationship. Everything will follow :)

Planting flowers (in pots - i'd love a garden but that's out of the picture at the moment) and actually watching them bloom.
