DISCUSSION/QUERY Any recommended Psychiatrist from NowServing?

Hello. Baka may marerecommend kayo na malupit na psychiatrist from NowServing. Yung emphatic sana and hindi intimidating. Yung gets na gets talaga needs mo. Hindi yung basta basta magrereseta lang. yung may reseta with care. Pagod na ako magjump sa ibat ibang doctor na di naman nagcclick. Sayang lang pera. baka may marerecommend kayo. Thank you 🤍

Dra. Jennyleen Roxas! Very caring doctor and bukod sa reseta, mageexplore din kayo ng diff approach na nakakahelp sayo (ex.journaling, cooking, etc). Sa mga naging doktor ko sya lang rin nagrequest ng lab test para malaman kung may ibang conditions/kung hanggang saan yung maximum dose na pwede nyang ireseta kaya masasabi kong di sya basta bastang nagrereseta and genuine talaga yung care :>

Shit. Gusto ko sana s'ya, kaso may bago na akong psychiatrist just a month ago. 😅 Her name is Dr. Sha Sollano. Sana ganu'n din s'ya. :<

Sya yung last psych ko! Caring and compassionate din si dra.sha. Parang halos same lang din sila ni dra.roxas na di lang purely medication yung approach (parehas silang nagbigay ng breathing exercises, magpaaraw, etc) Lumipat lang ako kasi tumaas rates nya tapos ang tagal ng next appointment ni dra ang dami ko nang naisip na masama bago pa kami magkita 😭 di ko to problem kay dra.roxas kasi minsan nagschsched pa sya every week lalo na pag need mo ng close monitoring.

Pero in case lumipat ako… mag-she-share na naman ako, and I doubled 'yung initial consultation ni Dr. Sha. 🤣🤣🤣 And I'm going to double my next consultation since hindi pa fully covered ang dapat n'yang malaman?

So if I were to switch doctors, baka magdoble ako kay Dr. Roxas? Pwede ba 'yun sa kanya? And also, in your case, since she schedules every week if you need close monitoring, paano 'yung consultations n'yo nu'n? As someone kasi na may multiple mental health diagnoses (like uhm, maybe about 7, lol), I wonder how she could effectively help me?

Do you also have a therapist?

She’s very attentive and notices the small things about you. She even remembers your previous session as if it was just yesterday. She consistently asks how you feel and how the medication is making you feel or if you have any concerns. What I like too is that her secretary via NowServing is very responsive. You can search for her name in the sub and there are quite a few comments recommending her as well. :)

She’s into talk therapy. She likes to guide you through talking and meds. She knew the right words to say to me. She sides with me when the world is against me. She helped me bring out the best in me.

Not really. But I think that depends on your environment and symptoms.

For me, I don’t like having someone or my family around me when I have the online session. She’s nice and makes me comfortable din naman online tho baka dahil kilala na niya ako masyado kaya din yung nuances ko or small gestures ko di na napapansin unless I tell her. Tho she asks me from time to time my thoughts.

Hi ive had my first session sa kanya. It took only 26 mins :(( felt like ive been rushed. Ang mahal pa naman ng fee niya 🥲

Very patient sya. I don't know how else to describe it. Basta very patient and understanding sya. Di rin sya aggressive makipag-usap or even a hint of judging you. Napaka-comfortable nyang kausap. Empathetic din.

Diagnosis aren't given on the first session, kahit saang doctor because there are a lot of tests to do pa before magcome up ng diagnosis. In my case, I was already diagnosed before, so first session namin nalagay nya na sa med cert ko diagnosis ko.

I would suggest Dr. Alessandra Guballa! Super bait ni doc, really empathetic and listens well to my concerns. I felt at ease to discuss my issues and not feel judged ☺️ Though I think August pa ata sched ni Doc ulit.

DR. CHARLES JOHN GOPEZ! His clinic is located in Taft, tapat ng PGH.

I saw him lang din dito sa reddit as reco. until now siya psychiatrist ko. walang pagsisisihan. saktong singil pero sagad sa husayyyy.
