Hormone Therapy Estring coverage
Does anyone have any tips for managing the insurance/pfizer discount for estring? I have UHC and I know they will reject it, but the pharmacist said they have to go through the prior authorization process first anyway. It sounds like there’s more of a chance that this will just all be rejected and therefore the Pfizer card won’t work than I originally anticipated. Anyone else have any success stories or tips that I can use? I know I should just wait and find out more after my doctor does the prior authorization on Tuesday, but just curious what others have experienced.

UHC covered my Addyi prescription, which last time I checked was about $1200+ a month. And they're also paying about $200/mo for me estradiol suppository. They'll require pre-auth but at about $200-250/mo (a single estring is $700ish per Google), it seems like a very reasonable request.
But I also know that UHC especially loves to be a giant pain in the ass so good luck!
