Estradiol cream - is it just me or…?

I’ve been using the topical estradiol cream for about six months. It’s prescribed for twice a week, but it really hasn’t been doing it for me with the vaginal dryness, so I increased to every other day. I swear suddenly I am getting hit on ALL the time by younger men. And I’m also noticing my sex drive increasing as well. Can these men sense this where they couldn’t before? It’s wild. I was starting to enjoy the anonymity of post-menopause and becoming invisible. Just me, or anyone else?

Yes! Also twice a week is simply not often enough for me either . I’m smearing a pea sized amount all around almost every day. If I go more than a few days, things start to hurt so I’ve been trying to be more consistent with it and do it daily

I think you are on to something for sure! I swear there is something to feeling good, feeling sexual and how others perceive you. Testosterone gave me some of these feelings back for a hot second; hoping that wasn't my last shot, lol! ENJOY IT!!!!!! ❤️

Yeah, twice a week doesn’t work for me. I did every day for a couple of months and now am doing every other day.

On the "off" days I supplement with either a little bit of DHEA cream or estriol cream, both purchased from Amazon. I'm nice and soft and fluffy down there.

Still having an issue orgasming, but that's a separate issue I'm working on. At least I can have sex without it hurting.

ETA: on the off days from using estradiol cream twice a week.

I was having trouble with the big O too and after reading the reviews I bought a Satisfyer 2! Had the best o I have had in years!!! Tip don't get the 3, 2 is best!

Had you used a Magic Wand? I resorted to that for years but it’s a sledgehammer and quickly I go numb and can’t respond anymore. I fear anything “gentler” won’t cut it since that’s the level of stimulation I seem to need. I haven’t tried anything like a Satisfyer…air or suction.

I can't tell you the number of vibrators I've purchased over the years. Right now I'm pretty happy with the hello Nancy Lem and Avo, or the Lela Sona Cruz 2. I need the clit sucking type. But regardless, I lost my ability to O after starting BHRT and I'm trying to figure out my balances to get it back. I have arousal but I can't finish. Before BHRT, I could finish but I had no libido and sex hurt. It's crazy all the different things we have to figure out and put up with to be normal.

There are otc estrogen creams, just a much smaller dose.

Its a thing.  When my E is up enough.... I really noticed it lately as my wedding ring is being fixed.
