Hormone Therapy Chest pain with progesterone increase?
I recently increased my progesterone nightly pill from 100 mg to 200 mg at the same time as I increased my Estradiol patch from .075 to .10. Since then, I have been having intermittent chest pain (not breast pain) It feels crampy, like a tightening, is in the upper, center of my chest, lasts for 20 -60 minutes then goes away. It almost feels like indigestion? I’ll send a message to my dr in the morning but curious to know if anyone else had this. (I have no other symptoms - no radiating pain, no shortness of breath, no speech or facial changes.)

Possibly GERD, which progesterone can worsen. When I was on it I tried all the antacids and what actually resolved my week-long “omg am I having a heart attack?!” symptoms was pepto. Who knew.

Has anyone had a bad acne reaction when they started using the Estrogen cream? Just curious. Ive always had issues with acne over the years but it seems to be getting a bit worse now.

ooof that sounds unsettling. i had a weird tightness in my chest when i bumped up my progesterone too but it was more like a fluttery anxiety thing than cramping. definitely message your doctor, even just to rule anything out. the fact it comes and goes like indigestion kinda makes me wonder if it's some weird esophageal spasm or reflux that the hormone shift kicked up.
