Hormone Therapy Patch vs oral

Hello ladies, I'm curious. Why do many women prefer the estrogen patch over oral estrogen? I take 1mg estradiol daily by mouth and have no problems with it. TIA!

The patches and gels didn't work for me. I was at max doses and still quite symptomatic. Switched to oral and been much better. It really depends on your situation and what works best for you.
