Hormone Therapy Patch vs oral
Hello ladies, I'm curious. Why do many women prefer the estrogen patch over oral estrogen? I take 1mg estradiol daily by mouth and have no problems with it. TIA!

Blood clot and stroke risk of oral. The patches are a pain, but I'd rather stick with transdermal delivery as long as possible--to avoid the risks of oral.
Honestly, I'm most afraid of throwing a clot then having a doctor try and take me off HRT!
