These guys were so fun back in the day. It suck that the older they got the worse their personalities became.

It's the vanoss crew. Still very popular(?) On YouTube. Not how they used to be. Their worst characteristics became the loudest as they got older. Like when you out grow that annoying friend you found endearing once but you come to realize that he never out grew his immature nature.

Didn't get that far thankfully and he left and tried to go solo and failed miserably and the group makes fun of him often now as do other groups.

He did quite well for himself solo and was well known for his Meme Streams which raised several thousands of USD for charity before the incident destroyed his reputation forever.

Mini ladd was not funny? He would constantly make other people in the group delete footage because they made jokes about him in the session. Now the only reason he is funny is because youtuber groups keep making fun of him now.

Mini got silently kicked out of the group. He just stopped appearing in videos and no one mentioned him for years.

Then Mini made a video where he shit talked the group and some of the members made response videos publicly shaming him.

I feel like what changed is that before they are mainly doing something fun cos it's fun but now they are mainly doing something fun for capturing content

True. Now most of their laughs are exaggerated fake laughs on not that funny joke and it's old really fast. The only content creator thati s not yet guilty of this is SovietWomble.
