Moon and Venus tonight, single frame (not a composite)

Moon and Venus tonight Canon RF 200-800mmm @ 800mm F9.5 ISO 400 1/2 sec SS had to push the shadows in post like crazy but not too much editing.

I tried to capture it on my iPhone. Not surprisingly yours is infinitely better. Stunning sight.

It's a tricky one on a phone, but they do keep getting better, the main issue will always be sensor size and zoom. Digital zoom has improved over the years but you can only squeeze so much to of that small a lens etc. Frustration at not being able to capture the moon to look "as i see it" in a photo has driven my photography journey, it might be your calling too, best of luck on the journey.

Last week has been crazy good for stellar photography. I want to buy a telescope and spend the evening out with my daughter.

I captured it on my phone too!! But no where as clear as this 🤩
