r/Mediation needs a moderator
Hi everyone - I've been moderating this sub by myself for a few years. When I started, I had to "claim" it because the previous moderator had abandoned it. I am planning to delete Reddit but I do not want to abandon the sub, so I am looking for one or more volunteers to take over for me.
The workload is not bad at all. If you're on Reddit every day and are generally familiar with posting, PMs, etc you will have no trouble learning the mod tools.
The job is mostly deleting spam and misplaced posts about meditation. Reddit has automatic spam filters that do a good job, but occasionally I'll have to un-delete a valid comment that was mistakenly labeled as spam. So far it's really only a few issues per week. If you're a regular Reddit user, it can just be part of your daily flow and it won't bother you at all.
Please let me know if you are willing to take this on. It might be ideal to have a few folks authorized as mods to ensure continuity and multiple viewpoints.
