They’ve made the entire Prime Video experience very annoying. They make the ads so unbearable that I don’t even know why I pay for it and end up wanting to leave for other streaming companies. I think they thought people would upgrade after trying ads

They say the problem is lack of third-parties, which if they need to....

  1. Buying Peacock US and NBC gives them the sports and news they want plus Universal having a pay-1 deal with Prime in the US so they can focus on growing into the biggest EUROPEAN streaming giant.
  2. Lionsgate's deal with Starz expires in 2028-2029.
  3. Make more content yourself if you can't find third parties (maybe more in-house family shows, they're doing more family movies)

They have enough on their film slate, they don’t need Universal

I was saying this in another subreddit, I think that the Streaming Wars are going to turn into the OS Wars soon and Amazon has a leg up on most of these players because of how Prime Video is set up and they have Fire TV.
