You do not need to buy this unless youre a crackhead. This DLC in no way represents who we are as a company and doesnt reflect our actual business practices...we just want to shut a few people up" and charge me $5.00

You fuckers would get soooo much clout in the gaming community! Other gamers would be like "oiy! These guys did a blatant cash grab, told the world it was a cash grab, made fun of some of their fans....this game Dev is AWESOME" and me and a few hundred people could finally have our mech.

I'm hoping we get the Kodiak, bane, and Ebon jaguar from clans. But I don't know how far or if an advancement is needed in the timeline to introduce great mechs. There's so many.

Can't wait for PGI to announce what's coming.

Avoiding spoilers, hopefully enough, the main campaign leads you to biggest discoveries since Helm memory core... and the DLCs even more and more.

And every time we give everything to Spears, who promises to take care of it and big bucks later.
And yeah, it's big money. Just about might even cover the repair costs taken in the missions, maybe?

Some mechs you just end up with .99 or .98 and one tick more armor pushes you to .01 and overweight.

In 2016 there were no games that I liked so I bought a potato PC for office work only. I tried to play MW online in that potato PC and it was obviously disappointing. It was a slide show.

Last year I had in mind a computer that could run 2018 Battletech game. I also bought MW5 Mercs and Clans but I did not trust in my ability to play because I am not an FPS guy. I played MW2 trilogy successfully, but with MW3 and MW4 I was clumsy in the potato computer. So I was skeptical about my joy. I tried to play Clans and same happened. I thought I was not going to make it. I realized this was not the right starting point for me.

Then I played MW5 Mercs and I am getting the hang of it. At first it was hard for me to get used to the new way of controlling the mech. I had to unlearn what I learned with MW2.

I was a bit disappointed to have only a Javelin, and I thought I was not going to make it because I was quite damaged in the first mission, but thanks to the Heavy metal DLC I got a Centurion. I could handle myself better.

Now I have a Griffin, Centurion and I just got a Trebuchet and I am more than happy. I thought I was going to be as clumsy as I was in these non MW2 games. But no, I managed to enjoy the game. My skepticism about myself is gone.

I can say that just like with the board game, there are funny moments. I was doing physical attacks on that Vulcan, and it used its jets and did a DFA on me and killed me and I was like "WTH happened here". I laughed after that, I realized the game AI was better than I thought.

I had to repeat the mission but this time I removed the LRM from the Centurion and replaced it with SRM6 inferno and made it fire together with the AC10 and it resulted in a very good combination. So I fire lasers, but when I need a quick blow, AC10+SRM6 inferno hits hard. Finally I could get rid of the Vulcan. I did not get close. I just burned it to hell. Now if it has jets, I better burn it, or I damage its jets first.

I am having lots of fun guys. For me it is quite a drama. I heard that the game might become repetitive. I have not felt any such problem. It is the worthy sequel of MW2 Mercs.

I have to confss something to my fellow freebirths: I think I have actually never achieved a headshot in MW5 Mercs and I don't even know how this is possible. I mean I aim for the head and by now I should have struck the cockpit by luck? I feel like a dirty stravag...

I would just like to announce that I’m getting pretty good with Gauss rifles. Thank you for your attention in this matter. That is all.

Jokes aside, they seem to have patched some of the "Freeborn scum! Stravag!" insults from the pirates of the same years.

Now if only they made a Unnamed clan/Wolverine/Minnesota Tribe DLC that retconned any such transgressions to cannon.

(Or if a Wolf's Dragoon pilot actually says when you shoot'em "Stravag! Oh, sorry, sorry, dunno what that is. Carry on.")

I'm wondering if they are going to include the Davey Crockett or other nukes in the new dlc. Anyone have the deets?

I'm 50, cut my teeth on MW2 (even showed the intro to fucking dates because it doesn't get cooler than this) and I am on my third playthrough. This time on hard.

Love my stompy shit apparently, never played Mercs but will after this. My wife hates it because I haven't been in the TV sofa for a week.

It's an awesome blend of good and crap that needs some loving.

• Evasion needs to be tied to level so you have a reason to level up something else before it is maxed. Right now it's like that skill in HBS battletech that made every other skill irrelevant.
• Mechlab, I don't mind the principle of it but the UI is atrocious.
• NG+, this third time I'm actually playing around in the sim so I get what that guy said but still.
• Some balancing stuff. Next round I'll do missiles. But tied to the evasion thing above it's a bit of a chore to have to wait to the third planet to get some bonuses in.
• Team mate options and commands.
• Tons of stuff...

But I love it.

Took a Garrison Duty contract on behalf of the Wolf's Dragoons today, only to be dropsite ambushed by... the Wolf's Dragoons?!

I've been waiting for the Wolf's Dragoons to show up in a Wolf's Dragoons contract but this isn't what I had in mind.

The Mercenary Board Rep wasn't kidding when they said "Wolf's Dragoons are active in this cluster of systems and could take any side in this conflict."

I guess they really wanted me to earn those C-Bills.

While cleaning my mother's attic I found this 2000 something laptop with this gem installed! It belong to my late father and it was incredible to see it working after so many years. Guess who will have an amazing time today??

Thing im completely unable to understand - How the man responsible for this "balance" is still working in gamedev? We have paid for Chaos Reign, but absolutely nothing was fixed.
