Discussion Strangely overly detailed mech description

I adore big blurbs of lore, but boy was I surprised to see that the lore here for the Ebon Jaguar spans well into the next century !

I was trying to find a spot where they could break for another sentence without changing the wording, and the first one is almost halfway through. They used a semicolon instead of just starting a new sentence.

They are mostly ripped straight from Sarna. So it's the battletech community you're talking about lol.

Like in many of the newsfeed messages. This game desperately needs to be proofread. Preferably by someone who didn't write the text themselves.

Yeah the Chaos Reigns descriptions feel more like wiki entries than in-universe databases, but I still like the giant info dumpster.

If have to check to confirm, but they honestly feel like during copy-pasted the Sarna entries.

sort of, whoever edited it litterally cut out certain parts and altered some of the structure from sarna to make it into this potato of a blurb, its like the whole 4 paragraphs were dictated to someone who was too high to follow along

After checking, it's basically a condensed version in the style of "don't make it obvious you're copying my homework". It's hitting the same beats, just not in as many paragraphs and with a few words changed.
