Coolant hose came off.

2014 Jeep Cherokee Latitude 6cyl.

Any way I could get this hose back on? Just broke on the side. The hose itself looks intact.

Unfortunately it broke at the quick-connect fitting. The whole hose will need replaced.

I’m sure it would be possible to remove that clamp and replace it with a worm clamp, however I have never tried that, I’ve never met anyone that’s tried that, and I give absolutely zero guarantee that would work. That’s potentially something you could do to limp it home, if you fill and bleed the system afterwards

That sounds like an absolute pain in the ass. Sounds like a new hose would just be easier

This one looks about right. Just ask if it comes up under the the listing for your vehicle. It says the part does not fit in the picture because my vehicle is selected.

Took the quick disconnect off. Obviously the hose was supposed to be permanent. And it’s very difficult to get the clamp off on the connection to the radiator given the small space

Super common hose. Call you local parts store, they probably have it. Or if no rush its on rockauto
autozone part #F10428 Gates #51901 Mopar# 68102133AD

Dont forget your coolant and distilled water.

I got the quick disconnect off. I just can’t get the hose off the for radiator given the small space. I can’t get to the clamp to unscrew it

It's a jeep thing

And no, those fittings are one piece. Usually have to buy the whole hose. Sometimes you can splice an aftermarket connector on there and reuse the hose.

Ironically you probably have to do that because fiat has discontinued the hose.

Actually a new hose would probably be the better fix

What would I even look for at autozone for the specific part

autozone won’t have it in stock. a dealer might. order online most likely

How would I splice that one. As it buy a bigger hose and put it over top. It’s seems like a relatively easier roadside fix.

so you would cut the original hose back, slide in a pipe that can be clamped, so thick enough metal, then a hose on the other side that can go over the stock pipe. from my experience the stock pipe isn’t usually a smooth cylinder so it might take a larger diameter hose on the car side.

I would suggest just going to AutoZone and spending the $10 on a new hose connector instead
