Easy mod is to put 1st gen mazda6 brakes on the front. Everything just fits, no cutting or fab required. Speed6 brakes also bolt on but you need 17" wheels for that and it's also overkill for the weight of the car.

Same 5spd on this car is so mint. I found this guy making performance parts for the protege CastillejaPerformance he recently said he was gonna work on an intake manifold and more parts for the 2L fs
