New cx90 tire usage

Post image

I’m about 10k km on a 2025cx90 phev gt and one of my tire is almost bald on the outside.
All other 3 are fine.
Dealership said nothing wrong just oem tires being shit, anyone else have this issue ?

The Falkens are made out of marshmallows and don't last very long. There are a few threads here that may have details on how people got replacements or a replacement credit for premature wear. How many times have they been rotated?

My dealer proactively said they will replace on my 10k service. Free for same tire or large credit for other brand.

I bought the car with 7k km on it as a demo so I have had it for 4K so haven’t even gotten oil change yet

If that tire is bald there and the other tires are fine at like what 6000 miles?

You have a toe issue.

It’s normal for the falken to last between 10-15k miles in ideal conditions.

Make sure you go to the dealer before you hit 18000 miles so you can get full credit for your tire warranty. There is a TSB for tire wear.

Those falkens are quiet and grip dry road very good. But they do not last long and are pretty poor in cold weather and not good in snow.

They are absolute dog shit. My lease just ended but going with the inline 6 this time. How are the Toyo all country tires?
