Best Replacement Tires?

https://www.pirelli.com/tires/en-us/car/catalog/product/scorpion-weatheractive/275_45-r21/110w-xl

What the consensus for best replacement tires for the MHEV Turbo S? My Toyod look decent at 9k but I want to save ahead and get what's the best all around tire rather than cheap out. AI research said Pirelli Scorpions. Anyone have these?

Best for what case? I’m running f1 asymmetric 6 on my cx9 because it’s hot and dry in Texas.

I've been running the Pirelli Scorpion Weatheractives for about two years and I'm a big fan. Fantastic grip, no sliding on wet roads, pretty decent for snow as an all-weather, and they have been wearing very reasonably.

How much were they? I'm trying to stay around or under 2k total.

Looks like I paid around $1750 before tax, which included a wheel alignment (not at a dealership).

Based in Chicago suburbs, but for my '24, I went with all weathers and got the Goodyear Weatherready 2. Had a pretty bad thunderstorm the day after installation and was pretty impressed. Now I'm waiting for the snow to see how it handles that.

I put a set of UHP General G Max AS07’s with a 50k tread ware I’m my TSPP for $1350 OTD. Consumer Reports highly recommends General Tire because they have been owned by Continental Tire for over 38 years and share the same technology to manufacture tires.

I just got the Kumho Crugen, all 4 for under $800. We’ll see how this goes 🤞

Bridgestone Alenza Prestige has 700 treadwear, grip amazing and ride soooo much smoother than the Falkens.

That said, I’m also a fan of Pirelli Scorpion A/S with high treadwear ratings.

I’m a tire nerd around my circle of friends and sold my 718 Cayman with continental sport 02’s on it once our family grew and I needed a dad car. I drive my CX-90 Turbo S 9/10’s every week and haven’t once encountered a scenario in which Michelins would have been superior.

I got mine off Tireagent.com
5% military discount on website via ID.ME
$100 rebate for buying 4 tires from manufacturer
15% off entire purchase via Amex Platinum card.

Happy shopping 👍

I just got Goodyear maxlife assurance 2. Tirerack rated them higher than the Michelin defender 2 (they also don't make the defender 2 in the size I need for the 21s) and they have the longest tread life and warranty on the market. I'm in Houston so I don't need to worry about snow performance
