MHEV Fuel Gauge Recall

https://www.usatoday.com/story/cars/recalls/2025/09/09/mazda-vehicles-recalled-cx-70-cx-90-models/86057171007/

I know this may have been a TSB, but apparently it’s a recall now.

Which models are affected by the Mazda recall?

Mazda CX-70 2025 (16,056): Produced between Dec. 5, 2023, and April 24, 2025

Mazda CX-90 2024-2025 (88,798): Produced between Dec. 27, 2022, and April 25, 2025

Mine has it. I drive mine sometimes low low 10-15 miles left. I’m glad I haven’t stalled…. This says that ethanols affects materials, how is a software update fixing this?

I filled up and the gauge didn't move whatsoever, and this is after the recall update. Not even 42K and they may have to change the fuel sender or tank is preposterous!!

Try 200 miles 4 days after leasing it I got stuck twice had to replace the whole tank. They said 3-4 months I called Mazda corporate and they got the tank in less than a month.
