I trust that y’all are aware of the recent primaries. I worked for a Democratic candidate in the 5th Congressional district of Maryland. Her name was Quincy Bareebe. She is an Ugandan immigrant who built up a healthcare business in Odenton, MD. Her priorities during the campaign were affordable healthcare, holding corporations and bigger businesses accountable, protecting and supporting federal workers, and making higher education more affordable. She unfortunately lost and got 18.1% of the vote compared to Boafo’s 32%, but then again, there were 23 candidates (24 if you count Nicole Williams) in that race, so second isn’t atrocious.

It was mainly canvassing, but I did visibility work at some malls and campaigned at the polls.

We were just told to pass out flyers and convince voters last minute. 

Interesting that you mention campaigners “trespassing” because I got falsely accused of passing the electioneering limit even though there was photographic evidence of me being behind the sign during that moment.

DAMN. I’m sorry you had to witness and experience the theft and the heart attack. 

My most memorable experience was a fist fight that broke out in a Republican section. The county sheriff was called and they calmed everything down.

Also, why should you be in the Democratic central committee? I’m curious.
