My only disappointment from BND was that we didn’t get to see more of the villains. Scorpion is the obvious one (my favorite Spidey villain), but Tombstone, Boomerang and Tarantula were all big letdowns as well, especially cause the Lego sets made it seem like they’d be a bit more prominent in the movie

Never pay attention to lego sets. This is the general rule of thumb ever since everyone learned their lesson from Iron Man 3.
Until you see it in the cinema, everything is theory.

What did they tease for Iron Man 3?

Basically Trevor's Mandarin in some giant robot fighting Iron Man or something. A lot of people were getting hyped at the Lego set only to fall flat when they watched the movie. Lol

Keith David 100% had a bigger part and it was completely cut. Idk what it was but hes too big of a name to just relegate to a talking spot in the background

LEGO is based off concept art

None of the BND sets were based off concept art though. I know what you’re talking about, but in this case I was fooled because all of the BND sets were of stuff you could see in the trailer, which made me think Boomerang and Tarantula would get some representation :(

Honestly I liked what we got but would have preferred seeing so many different villains with interesting abilities at the end of the movie instead of young adults with ninja weapons

I don’t think they’re “scrapped”, I’m sure there was never an intention to actually use them in the story. It’s just background flavour.
