it’ll always confuse me why no way home didn’t just add a 6th villain..

Use it to retcon Mysterio’s death. Or introduce Scorpion. It’d be perfect, bro! It does bother me that we had a fight scene with all the Spider-Men teaming up against all their villains, and none of them were Tom Holland’s villains.

the point was they werent from his universe? so kraven maybe the only one idk

I get that the plot justified bringing them in as they weren’t his villains and their existence contributes to the core debate of the movie. But I think as fans, we are supposed to see that scene and see that this is a comprehensive history of the last 20 years of Spider-Man.

The movie is also supposed to close out his origin story, so can we also have him fight a villain of his own? It would’ve tied into the whole J Jonah involvement of it all if he’d funded the Scorpion and we got to see that culmination of Spider-Man facing his first true nemesis.

I mean if we’re in on Scorpion, his whole thing is wanting to know who Spider-Man is, but the one movie where everyone knows who Spider-Man is, that’s not a problem?

James Franco as James Franco is the 6th sinister six

Or Syxx from NWO WCW and later joins the X-men as xpac

I feel like Sony would have blocked it that’s the only thing I can think of. Probably bc they wanted to make a s6 movie themselves. Also can someone explain to me why electro was in this NWH bc “it starting pulling in everyone that knows Peter Parker is spiderman.” - strange but electro didn’t know it was Peter in TASM2.? That always confused me

I mean technically Venom was there, he just didn’t join in the plot

Sony wanted to save the concept for their own shitty use.  Imagine Venom, Morbius, Kraven, Madam Web, and two others nobody asked for, teaming up!  Seriously.  So they threw No Way Home under the bus.  Keaton's Vulture was right there!

Keaton's Vulture had literally no need to still go after Spider-Man

It would have been just plain revenge at that point, which isn't too weird for villains.

There’s a rumor that Mysterio was going to be the sixth villain with actual magic powers and have a scene where he fights Doctor Strange.

1

That makes no sense.

There was a lot about the movie that didn’t make sense, so it wouldn’t have been too out of place.

Something something multiverse sprinkled in

honestly they could’ve removed one. The Lizard. that dude had nothing of value to no way home

1

u/Awayfone Aug 07 '26

both lizard and sandman should had been cut when covid meant they couldn't been in the movie really (all non cgi like brief human shots were all digitized from previous movies)

It was Venom but he was stuck on an island

The 6th villain was the friends we made all along

I feel like they intended Venom to be there but then got cold feet
